Tankless Water Heaters For Sarasota Residents

Tankless water heaters are just one of the many products that Professional Plumbing & Design offers our clients throughout Sarasota and the surrounding communities of Bradenton, Palmetto, and Venice.

Tankless water heaters offer an endless supply of hot water, so you never have to take a cold shower and, by instantly heating only the water you need, when you need it, these suitcase-sized units save more than just space; they save energy, which means you save money!

In the past, installation of these units was complicated and costly, but recent improvements in their design have made it easier than ever to switch from a conventional, tanked water heater to an energy-saving tankless model. Many of the top manufacturers have even started offering tankless units that will work with existing 1/2-inch gas lines; this makes retrofit installations faster and less expensive than before.

If it’s time to replace your water heater, consider switching to an energy-saving tankless water heater; the recent changes in technology and design have made them a great option!

For more information about tankless water heaters, or any other plumbing product or concern, feel free to contact Professional Plumbing & Design at 941-355-5400 or visit our website at www.proplumbingdesign.com.

Sarasota Plumbing Energy Savings

With a GeoSpring Water Heater an average household of 3 to 4 people can save between $370 and $490, while an average household of 5 to 6 people can save between $620 and $740.

For more information - call or visit our website!

http://www.proplumbingdesign.com/

The GeoSpring water heater combines energy-saving heat-pump technology with traditional electric elements using a fraction of the energy.

The integrated compressor and evaporator use a fan to draw in ambient heat from surrounding air to heat refrigerant. Then the heated refrigerant runs through coils that wrap the tank all the way to the bottom, transferring heat into the water tank. This innovative process creates the same amount of hot water as a traditional electric water heater.

Why replace your Sarasota water heater when you can repair it for a fraction of the cost?

The answer is simple; your old water heater may be costing you more than think.

From baths and showers to dishwashing and laundry, we depend on our water heaters more than we might realize. In a typical home, the electric water heater accounts for approximately 14% of the total energy bill.

Water Heaters are not a one-size-fits-all appliance. There are a variety of factors to consider when choosing a new water heater and that is why it is important to have a knowledgeable and trustworthy professional to guide you through the selection process.

Water heaters are also available in the traditional tank style and tankless. Tankless models offer increased efficiency because you are only heating the water that you consume and they offer an endless supply of hot water in a much smaller package. Tankless water heaters also last twice as long as the tank style water heaters and the warranties range from 3 to 12 years.

Professional Plumbing & Design carries all major brands of Electric, Natural Gas, Propane/LP Gas, Solar and Hybrid Water Heaters including Tankless Water Heaters for Commercial and Residential use.

Call the professionals at 941-355-5400; we can help you figure out the best option for you.

Sarasota Solar Water Heating Systems

Did you know that a conventional electric water heater uses as much energy as an automobile?

On average, a family of four uses about 80 gallons of hot water per day. The energy required to heat that water is equivalent to the 11.4 barrels of oil required to power a vehicle that gets 22 mpg for a year (12,000 miles). In other words, installing a Solar Water Heating System has the same environmental impact as removing an average car from the road.

Sarasota Tankless Gas and Electric Water Heaters

Tankless water heaters offer an endless supply of hot water in a much smaller package than conventional water heaters and, with a typical lifespan of 20 years or more, Tankless systems last twice as long as conventional tank-style water heaters.

The small size of the Tankless units and their concentric venting system allow you to strategically place them on virtually any wall for maximum performance and energy efficiency. You can seamlessly connect multiple units for use in larger homes and exterior units can even be painted and textured to match your home’s exterior!

Should you replace your water heater - even if you can repair it for a fraction of the cost?

The answer is simple - YES!  Your old water heater may be costing you much more than think.

From baths and showers to dish washing and laundry, we depend on our water heaters more than we might realize. In a typical home, the electric water heater accounts for approximately 14% of the total energy bill. That Water Heater is the second largest energy consumer in a typical home – second only to the home heating and cooling system.

Just like in the HVAC industry, the plumbing industry has been trending towards more environmentally friendly designs with significantly improved energy efficiency ratings. The GeoSpring Water Heater by GE, for example, uses 62% less energy than a standard 50-gallon water heater. With that kind of savings, it’s easy to see how a new water heater can pay for itself in no time.

Water Heaters are not a one-size-fits-all appliance. There are a variety of factors to consider when choosing a new water heater and that is why it is important to have a knowledgeable and trustworthy professional to guide you through the selection process. The right water heater will add value to your home, reduce your energy bills, and add convenience for years to come, but you have to choose right...

If your water heater is more than 15 years old, replacing it could significantly reduce your electric bill and add value to your home. If you're not sure when your water heater was built, check the first 4 digits of the serial number for the month and year of manufacture

Through continuing education and by embracing new technology, our company has expanded to include drain pipe lining, jet cleaning, video inspection, sewer odor/leak detection, microbial drain treatment, re-piping, water filtration, gas piping, and “green” plumbing technologies, as well as traditional plumbing services for homes, businesses and condominiums.

Ourgreen plumbing technologies such as solar water heating systems, hybrid water heating systems, tankless water heatingsystems, biological septic and grease trap treatments, and faucets, shower heads and toilets designed to conserve water are designed to save money for our customers while saving energy and protecting the environment. Our eco-friendly approach is just one way that makes our business unique, and these are concepts
that we’ve realized and implemented as a way to help Professional Plumbing stand out from competitors.
Professional Plumbing phones are staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week so you always speak to a live person. No answering machine, no voice mail. Our technicians are not allowed to ‘solo’ on any job until they are trained to handle any plumbing issue. They are drug-tested, background-checked and are encouraged to pursue all avenues
of continuing education.

We are not a franchise and our employees are not on commission. As a local family-owned and operated business, our reputation is on the line every time one of our technicians answers a call. We demand nothing less than 100 percent professionalism, courtesy, cleanliness and class.

Residential water re-piping has long been a staple of Professional Plumbing and Design’s service menu. All re-pipes are not the same. Before we start, we protect the floors throughout your home. We insulate both the hot and cold water lines in the attic, route the new water lines out of the way and strap them accordingly. All fixtures get new brass shut off valves and no-burst stainless steel supplies. Drop piping is routed inside walls so that you don’t see them, and any walls that need to be opened will be patched and textured to match so that you can’t tell we were there. Lastly, both the Flow Guard Gold® SCH 40 CPVC piping we use and our workmanship are guaranteed for 25 years.”
